Kishoregonj District: A to Z information

Kishoreganj is a district in Dhaka Division of Bangladesh. Earlier it was a subdivision under Mymensingh district. Kishoreganj was made a separate district because of Mymensingh’s domination. Therefore, to uphold Mymensingh, Greater Mymensingh separated their upazilas from Kishoreganj, Tangail, Sherpur, Jamalpur, Netrokona.

This Kishoreganj district is one of the most diverse geographical landscapes of Haor-Baur and Plainland. Mymensingh, Netrokona and Sunamganj, Narsingdi on the south, Habiganj and Brahmanbaria on the east and Gazipur and Mymensingh districts on the west.
