Kushtia is a district in Khulna Administrative Division of West Bangladesh. Kushtia has existed as a separate district since the partition of India.  Earlier, Kushtia was a part of Nadia district in the Bengal province of British India.

Kustia is famous for the “lalon sangit” as this noble person has born here. Again the worlds famous poet “Rabindranath Tagore” also born in this district. Many more history like this has made this district famous.
