Sherpur District: A to Z information

Sherpur is a district of Mymensingh division. The district is situated in central Bangladesh. In the past it was a sub-division of Jamalpur district. There is no clear history of sherpur district from ancient time. But it is said that the emperor Akbar named this district “Dash Kahonia Baju” during his reign. Whatever, the district is now having all the facilities. The communication system and industries have made the city awesome.
